At PMTS 2013, Wickman Machine Tools announced that it and parent company Tajmac have teamed up with bar feed manufacturer, Pietro Cucchi, to supply and support Pietro Cucchi throughout North America. Wickman is a Coventry, England-based manufacturer of multi-spindle machine tools and is part of the Milan, Italy-based Tajmac group. Wickman has a direct office in Lake of the Woods, Ill. Tajmac also manufactures several brands of machine tools, including ZPS America, Manurhin sliding headstock automatic lathes and the Mori Say line of multi-spindle machine tools. According to the company, Wickman will support existing and potential customers of Pietro Cucchi bar feed units. These bar feed units are applied on many multi-spindle machines in North America and customers are asked to contact Wickman Machine Tools for sales and support in the future.
